Mission Statement
Chicago Fusion Theatre (CFT) is a home for both artists and audiences.  Through the ideal of fusion, we combine our skills and passions to expose the human condition.

Pursuit of Excellence
Since our inception in 2007, Chicago Fusion Theatre (CFT), has pushed the boundaries of traditional theater by incorporating dance, live music, improvisational theater, and film into our productions. In doing so, CFT has exposed its audience to genres and styles of art to which patrons are not frequently accustomed. CFT has an anchor of familiarity  in the pieces we choose, whether it be the whimsical Americana of bobrauschenbergamerica or the classic Broadway drama in J.B. as the launch pad for experimentation in spectacle.

Organizational Capacity
Chicago Fusion Theatre is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers with strong backgrounds in production management, advertising, marketing, educational outreach and fundraising.  The Company also relies on members of the Board who have provided personal financial support and have used their contacts to assist in fundraising and secure pro-bono work that has been vital to the successful promotion of productions and fundraisers. They also volunteer their time to help with production box office and striking the set.

*CFT was founded in 2007, incorporated in the State of Illinois in 2008 and granted 501(c)3 non-profit status in 2009.
